A cookie is a small text file stored on your device (computer, smartphone, tablet) when you visit a website. Cookies allow a site to "remember" information about your visit (preferences, authentication session, settings).
WavinBox primarily uses local storage (localStorage) rather than traditional HTTP cookies, meaning this data stays in your browser and is not automatically sent to our servers with each request.
Here is the complete list of cookies and local storage data used by WavinBox:
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
sb-[ref]-auth-token | Supabase authentication — keeps your session active | Session / 7 days | Essential |
wavinbox_cookie_consent | Remembers your cookie consent choice | 12 months | Essential |
i18next | Remembers your language preference | 12 months | Functional |
wavinbox_theme | Remembers your theme preference (light/dark) | 12 months | Functional |
onboarding_seen | Remembers whether you have seen the onboarding tutorial | 6 months | Functional |
marketing_consent | WavinBox marketing emails and newsletters (if consent given) | 12 months | Marketing |
Essential cookies are strictly necessary for WavinBox to function. Without them, the service cannot work correctly (for example, you would not be able to stay logged in).
These cookies do not require your prior consent under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive and the CNIL recommendation of September 17, 2020. They therefore cannot be disabled.
Supabase authentication: The session token is managed by Supabase Auth and stored securely. It expires automatically and is transparently regenerated.
Functional cookies improve your experience by remembering your preferences (language, theme, tutorials already seen). They do not collect any sensitive personal data and do not analyze your behavior.
These cookies are considered non-intrusive by the CNIL. You may choose not to accept them, but this may affect your experience (for example, the language displayed will default to your browser language).
Marketing cookies do not relate to third-party advertising on WavinBox — we display no third-party ads. This cookie only records your consent to receive marketing communications from WavinBox (newsletters, promotional offers).
These cookies require your explicit prior consent. By default, they are disabled. You may withdraw your consent at any time by updating your preferences above or via the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
On your first visit, a consent banner appears at the bottom of the page. You can choose to accept all cookies or essential cookies only.
You can change your choice at any time using the buttons at the top of this page, or by clearing your browser data for this site.
You can also manage or disable cookies directly in your browser settings:
Note: disabling essential cookies may prevent WavinBox from working correctly (login, session…).
In accordance with the GDPR and the French Data Protection Act, you have the following rights regarding data processed through cookies:
To exercise your rights: privacy@wavinbox.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL.
We use session cookies strictly necessary for the platform to work (authentication, language preferences). We do not use third-party tracking cookies. Privacy Policy
